Hi, my name is Christopher Gutteridge and I am the lead developer for EPrints. Meet my team EPrints is both a practical tool and the crystallization of a philosophy. It enables research to be accessible to all, and provides the foundation for all academic institutions to create their own research repositories. EPrints is a great piece of software but we have plans to make it better still. With the new EPrints Community initiative we will be able to work closely with new and existing users to address their needs and concerns, and allow them to help set our priorities. Working towards a more modular design will make it easier for the community to build and share extensions. I was pleased to recently receive the UK Unix and Open Systems User Group 2005 Award for the development of EPrints. You can email me at: cjg@ecs.soton.ac.uk |

The technical discussion list is archived online. "For an open source product the quality of support is excellent. The eprints tech list is a great free
resource and almost all of my eprints questions in the past have been
answered via a post onto the list." WikiThe EPrints Wiki allows EPrints users and developers to share tips, scripts, patches and how-to's. This supplements the mailing list and the formal documentation. |
