Hi all,

I don’t seem to remember this problem when we worked briefly on version 3.0.
Also, if we compare the file /phrases/views.xml for both versions, the one
in 3.0 is much more simple; it does not have the sub-levels of 3.1.1.

I know that most of you don’t use accents, but maybe the experts can tell me
what makes the accents correct in the header, menus and footer of this page
(page number 2), but not correct in the middle part of the page. Follow the
steps:

1. From this screen (Browse by subject) you can see all accents
correctly: http://publications.polymtl.ca/view/subjects/

2. However, if you click any of the subject, for example, Matériaux
médicaux, the accents are not displayed correctly anymore. Either it is an
accent in the subject, in the author name or the title, it is not displayed
correctly. http://publications.polymtl.ca/view/subjects/1902.html

3. This is another example when the accents are OK. Approach from the
advanced search screen and search for the subject “1902”.

Thank you so much for any help or hint you can provide !
